Civil Rights Program
The APHIS Civil Rights Program—overseen by the Office of Civil Rights (OCR)—advances fair treatment in the workplace.
OCR provides leadership, conducts outreach to relevant organizations and institutions, evaluates program and compliance progress, manages formal and informal complaints, implements civil rights requirements, and provides national policy guidance on affirmative employment. We foster a respectful workplace in accordance with the Notification and Federal Employee Antidiscrimination and Retaliation Act (No FEAR Act).
