APHIS works with Native American Tribes to protect agriculture and natural resources. We also provide agricultural assistance to Tribes. We aim to strengthen agricultural networks while building a future where history is acknowledged and sovereignty, ancestral heritage, and cultural values are respected.

Each Tribe has the opportunity for government-to-government consultation with APHIS in developing policies that may have Tribal implications as described by Executive Order 13175: Consultation and Coordination With Indian Tribal Governments.
