Live Ornamental Fish
APHIS Registered Aquaculture Export Facility approval is required for U.S. origin live ornamental aquatic animals to Malaysia.

Note: For fish that originate from a farm or an aquaculture establishment, the aquatic animal export facilities must either meet the OIE definition of premises disease freedom according to Article 1.4.8. of the WOAH Aquatic Animal Health Code, or the APHIS definition of premises disease freedom (258.61 KB) for SVC, KHV, EUS, EHN and WSD.

Taking a Pet to Another Country?
If your species is not listed, the requirements for that species are not known. Exporters who want to ship livestock or germplasm whose requirements are not listed above should have the importer or buyer in the destination country apply for an import permit at the appropriate ministry. This import permit will most likely outline the specific requirements.
