Animal Health Status Review Information

Starting in 2017, Regionalization Evaluation Services (RES) began reviewing the APHIS-recognized animal health statuses of foreign regions. Each year, RES will use a process that takes into account risk-based and other criteria to determine which regions and statuses it will review during the following year. The number of reviews conducted each year will vary depending on availability of resources such as travel funds, emerging issues, and other competing priorities.
