Notice of Availability: Predecisional Environmental Assessment—Bird Damage Management in Hawaiʻi
Notice of Availability—Hawaiʻi: Wildlife Services, a program within the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS-WS), has prepared a Predecisional Environmental Assessment (EA) entitled “Bird Damage Management in Hawaiʻi.” The EA analyzes the potential environmental impacts of alternatives for APHIS-WS involvement in bird damage management in Hawaiʻi. The EA is available for public review and comment before issuing a decision. The proposed action is to implement an integrated approach using a variety of methods to reduce bird damage to human health and safety, agricultural resources, property, and natural resources. APHIS-WS is requesting that the public review and provide their comments on the EA by July 17, 2025.
