The European Union (EU) has updated all of its harmonized health certificates in accordance with its Animal Health Law. Regularly check the EU IRegs webpage for the latest export health certificates and the most up-to-date information regarding live animal exports to the EU.
Turtles

- Note: There is not a required certificate format, but the APHIS Form 7001 may be used. The species (including the scientific name) must be listed. Pond sliders (Trachemys scripta) are prohibited.
Taking a Pet to Another Country?
If your species is not listed, the requirements for that species are not known. Exporters who want to ship livestock or germplasm whose requirements are not listed above should have the importer or buyer in the destination country apply for an import permit at the appropriate ministry. This import permit will most likely outline the specific requirements.
