Export Live Animals to Azerbaijan
Summary of Requirements
Note: Effective June 6, 2023, the Food Safety Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan has imposed temporary restrictions on the importation of live cattle from Davidson county, Tennessee.

Note: The Food Safety Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan has imposed trade restrictions on the import of U.S. origin live poultry, day-old chicks, and hatching eggs from the INFECTED ZONES within the states of California, Idaho, Illinois, Minnesota, Montana, and Oregon, due to HPAI.

If your species is not listed, the requirements for that species are not known. Exporters who want to ship livestock or germplasm whose requirements are not listed above should have the importer or buyer in the destination country apply for an import permit at the appropriate ministry. This import permit will most likely outline the specific requirements.
