Export Live Animals to Ecuador
Summary of Requirements
To be able to export animals, semen, or embryos to Ecuador, an import permit must be obtained from the Ministry of Agriculture of Ecuador. This import permit must be presented to the Accredited Veterinarian and/or to the AVIC office in the corresponding State before starting the testing process of the animals. An import permit is not required for dogs and cats.
Health certificates for animals, animal semen, and animal embryos imported into Ecuador must be typed or done by a word processor.

Taking a Pet to Another Country?
If your species is not listed, the requirements for that species are not known. Exporters who want to ship livestock or germplasm whose requirements are not listed above should have the importer or buyer in the destination country apply for an import permit at the appropriate ministry. This import permit will most likely outline the specific requirements.
