Jeff Schultz is a wildlife biologist for the National Wildlife Research Center’s Utah Field Station and has helped complete dozens of studies for the Predator Management Project. His research specializes in animal behavior and exploring predator response to nonlethal deterrents. With extensive experience working with captive coyotes, he trains personnel in safe animal handling methods and assists with animal care procedures. 

Research Project

The goals of this project are to generate and disseminate ecological information related to both mammalian and avian predator management, particularly aimed at reducing conflicts with livestock, humans, and native prey species.
