CHAPTER 43 MODEL ANIMAL HEALTH/OFFICIAL CERTIFICATE FOR THE ENTRY INTO THE UNION OF RAW MATERIALS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF GELATINE AND COLLAGEN INTENDED FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION (MODEL TCG) [Incorporating changes from Regulation 2023/2744]
The RCG is only available at this time for untreated fish-origin materials. Currently materials derived from any species would have to be “treated” prior to being exported on the TCG in order to be used in the EU (or after transiting the EU) for the manufacture of gelatin/collagen for human consumption. "Treated" means materials have been processed in any way (other than cutting or cooling. "For information on the TCG, please go back to the previous page and select the applicable link.
