APHIS Posts AQI User Fee Activity Based Cost Model Data for Public Display

APHIS is reminding stakeholders that complete APHIS Agricultural Quarantine and Inspection (AQI) Cost Model data was made available with the current Proposal to Strengthen the Agricultural Quarantine and Inspection Program published August 11, 2023. The cost data for each proposed fee is presented as a separate file for fiscal years 2017 through 2019.  Each file contains the data elements used to calculate the proposed fees.

The data can be accessed directly on the APHIS Website or by using the link provided in footnote 33 of the proposed rule.  This message is being sent in response to several stakeholders expressing interest in seeing a AQI cost data and how those costs are allocated to individual fees. The data has been on public display since August 11, 2023, to coincide with publication of the proposed rule.
