NWRC Utah Field Station Staff: Andalyn Billings

Andalyn Billings is a biological science technician for the National Wildlife Research Center’s Utah Field Station. 

She is the Animal Care Lead and works with her team to ensure the coyotes housed at the facility are receiving quality care and enrichment. She manages colony wide needs, such as breeding, genetic diversity, capturing and handling, and yearly vaccinations. Her expertise includes animal care, agriculture, taxidermy, and wildlife rehabilitation.

Research Project

The goals of this project are to generate and disseminate ecological information related to both mammalian and avian predator management, particularly aimed at reducing conflicts with livestock, humans, and native prey species.
