AgDiscovery: Participating Universities
APHIS partners with 20 colleges and universities nationwide to deliver the AgDiscovery program. The program is held on the university campuses during the summer. Many of the Federal Government’s plant scientists, veterinarians, biotechnologists, and wildlife biologists work at APHIS. While attending AgDiscovery, you will have the opportunity to learn about many exciting careers in APHIS.

Important Information About AgDiscovery Applications
Applicants can only apply to one AgDiscovery program each year. The programs are categorized in four areas of discipline: agribusiness, plant, animal, and combination. Applicants cannot repeat participation within the same discipline. For example, suppose a student has previously attended a program in the animal area of discipline. In that case, the student is only eligible to participate in a program in one of the three remaining disciplines (agribusiness, plant, or combination). Learn how to apply.
