Notice Regarding Pet Supplements Exported to Canada: 

As of June 24, 2024, Thermally Processed pet supplements can be exported to Canada using the Thermally Processed Pet Foods/Pet Treats/Compound Chews veterinary certificate (280.5 KB).

The facility manufacturing the pet supplements must be under APHIS inspection, if the facility has a current APHIS facility number and has been inspected for thermally processed pet food products (pet food, pet treats, compound chews), no additional action is needed. If the facility producing the pet supplements is not currently under APHIS inspection for export to Canada, then the facility should contact their VS Field Office covering the area in which the product is manufactured to obtain pre-inspection documents and schedule an inspection.
