Sign into USAJOBS using your login.gov information. If you don’t yet have a login.gov account, you’ll need to create one by visiting https://login.gov/ and selecting “Create an Account” at the top of the screen.
Make sure your profile is complete and up-to-date.
You can search for jobs by keyword or location. You can also save a search to help you look for jobs in your area of interest. You can sign up to receive daily, weekly, or monthly email notifications.
Tailor your resume to the job. You can save as many as five resumes to your account.
Once you’ve found a job of interest, click “Apply.” The USAJOBS application process will guide you through five steps:
