Emergency Management Response System for Epidemiologist and Disease Reporting Officers

The Emergency Management Response System (EMRS) is a web-based information system designed to automate and manage data related to all aspects of an animal disease outbreak or animal-associated disaster. 

Designed for epidemiologists and disease reporting officers who have basic EMRS skills, this advanced course prepares participants to use EMRS for documenting epidemiology and disease reporting in the field and during an incident to manage disease activities including lab results, premises status, appraisal, euthanasia and disposal, cleaning and disinfection, environmental sampling, restocking, biosecurity and safety inspections, and basic tracing.
