During Firewood Month in October, we partner with @DontMoveFirewood and @PlayCleanGo to reduce firewood movement and slow the spread of forest pests and diseases via the firewood pathway. We will focus on a specific theme each week on our social media platforms and in the Firewood Month Toolkit. You will find social media content, graphics, blogs, firewood messaging, and more in the toolkit.
Help us spread the word during Firewood Month to protect our parks and natural resources against the spread of invasive pests!
Sample Post:
Buy or responsibly gather firewood where you burn it, or use certified heat-treated firewood.
Find many more resources in the Firewood Month Toolkit.
