APHIS Postpones Implementation of the Commercial Aircraft User Fee for Aircraft with 64 or Fewer Seats
In accordance with the Presidential Memorandum titled “Regulatory Freeze Pending Review” issued January 20, 2025, APHIS has postponed implementing the Agricultural Quarantine and Inspection (AQI) program’s commercial aircraft user fee for aircraft with 64 or fewer seats from April 1, 2025, to June 2, 2025. Official notice of this change will be published in the Federal Register in the coming weeks. This notice will also include a request for information pertaining to the removal of the exemption. We will send out a Stakeholder Registry announcement when the notice is published.
