Notice of Availability — Revised Final Environmental Assessment titled “Wake Atoll Rat Eradication Program” and a Decision and Finding of No Significant Impact in Hawaii

Wildlife Services (WS), a program within the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), has issued a Revised Final Environmental Assessment (EA) titled “Wake Atoll Rat Eradication Program” and a Decision and Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI).  The Revised Final EA analyzed the eradication of an additional, previously undetected invasive rat species from Wake Atoll.  The change did not alter the analysis of potential impacts from implementing the proposed action of conducting a rat eradication program. The FONSI concluded that the revised proposed action will not cause any significant impacts to the human environment.
