European Union - Animal-Origin Feed for Laboratory and Zoo Animals

EU authorities have verified that animal-origin feed for laboratory and zoo animals may be imported on the pertinent Chapter 3 Health Certificate.

Exporters should still have their importers confirm prior to shipment with the border inspection post (BIP) through which the consignment will enter the EU that the consignment will be allowed entry with the pertinent Chapter 3 Health Certificate. The BIP officials must be satisfied that measures are in place to ensure the materials will not be fed to livestock.
