European Union - Chapter 3(E) - Flavoring Innards

Chapter 3(E) Health Certificate for Flavoring Innards 

Sections I through VII below are for materials shipped in new or sterilized bags.  For items shipped in bulk, please see Section IX and X.

Please select the appropriate certificate below based upon the animal-origin ingredients included in the flavoring innards:

I.  Derived from the Carcasses of Poultry (Birds)

The following certificate is for flavoring innards derived from carcasses of birds [from areas other than HPAI Banned Areas or ND Banned Areas] slaughtered in the United States after passing FSIS ante-mortem slaughter inspection: [This version may not be utilized for materials derived from eggs nor any materials

The Chapter 3E is not endorsable at this time for poultry derivatives from HPAI Banned Areas or ND Banned Areas.

III. Egg

IV. Terrestrial and/or Aquatic Invertebrates

V.  Rodent

VI. Bovine, Ovine, and/or Caprine Ingredients

These options may also be used for materials containing both ingredients derived from bovine, ovine, and/or caprine animals and also ingredients derived from other animals as long as it contains at least one ingredient derived from bovine, ovine, and/or caprine animals.

A. Meat and/or other organs from terrestrial animals

B. Dairy

C. Meat and dairy

D. Meat and Egg

E. Dairy and Egg

F. Fish and Meat

G. Meat, Fish and Egg

H. Meat, Fish, Dairy and Egg

VII. Ruminants other than bovine, caprine, and/or ovine animals

These options may also be used for materials derived from other species, as long as: (1) the product contains at least one ingredient derived from ruminants other than bovine, caprine, or ovine animals, and (2) the product does not contain any ingredients derived from bovine, caprine, and/or ovine animals.

VIII. Terrestrial animals other than ruminants or birds

A. Meat and/or other organs from terrestrial animals

IX. Other

These versions should be utilized when the line-outs in the above versions are not appropriate. This includes exports of flavoring innards shipped in bulk containers rather than new or sterilized bags, and exports only transiting the EU.  To utilize these versions, the inappropriate text must be lined out prior to endorsement.

 X. Derived from the Carcasses of Poultry (Birds) and Shipped in Bulk in Containers other than New or Sterilized Bags

 XI. Derived from the Carcasses of Mammals other than Ruminants or Rodents and Shipped in Bulk in Containers other than New or Sterilized Bags
