Chapter 3(C) Health Certificate for Dog Chews
The European Union defines "dog chews" as products for pet animals to chew, produced from untanned hides and skins of ungulates or from other materials of animal-origin. Therefore, use of the Chapter 3(C) Health Certificate is not limited to only chews for dogs.
Please select the appropriate certificate below based upon the animal-origin ingredients included in the pet chews:
These options may also be used for pet chews containing both ingredients derived from bovine, ovine, and/or caprine animals and also ingredients derived from other animals as long as it contains at least one ingredient derived from bovine, ovine, and/or caprine animals.
IV. Ruminants other than bovine, caprine, and/or ovine animals
These options may also be used for pet chews derived from other species, as long as: (1) the product contains at least one ingredient derived from ruminants other than bovine, caprine, or ovine animals, and (2) the product does not contain any ingredients derived from bovine, caprine, and/or ovine animals.
These versions should be utilized when the line-outs in the above versions are not appropriate. This includes exports only transiting the EU. To utilize these versions, the inappropriate text must be lined out prior to endorsement.
