Disease Status of a Country
Highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) and Newcastle disease (virulent) (NDV) are the two viral diseases that require quarantine upon U.S. arrival or may prohibit entry into the United States. Importers should view the current disease status of the country of interest before applying for an import or transit permit.
