All proficiency tests for the NAHLN are administered through the National Veterinary Services Laboratories' (NVSL) reference laboratories.

Information for commercial manufacturers of reagents and testing platforms on minimum validation requirements for acceptance into the NAHLN. Additional approvals by the NVSL, VS' Center for Epidemiology and Animal Health, and the appropriate commodity program may be required prior to deployment of new test methods to NAHLN laboratories.
