Renewing Permits in APHIS eFile
Please be advised that ePermits data will not be available in APHIS eFile. APHIS programs provide the following guidance for renewing permits from ePermits:
Biotechnology Regulatory Services: Renewals are no longer applicable under BRS' revised regulations. To reauthorize an existing permit, please submit a new APHIS 2000 application. To expedite processing, you may reference the older permit number in the "Additional Information" section of the Application.
Plant Protection and Quarantine: To renew a permit originally issued from ePermits, please draft and submit a new application containing the same data (via the guidance documents below). Once issued, applicants will be able to renew or clone as needed.
Veterinary Services: If you are renewing a VS 16-6A permit originally issued from ePermits, please view the VS 16-3 application guide (below) for instructions on how to renew your permit in the new eFile system.
