European Union - Composite Products intended FOR Human Consumption

APHIS does not certify products covered by Regulation (EU) 468/2012. 

Regulation (EU) 468/2012 contains the certificates required by the EU for “composite” products intended for human consumption. If an exporter is advised that they are required to have one of the following certificates, they should contact FSIS, FDA, NOAA, or AMS (whichever USG entity regulates the pertinent production facility) for information on the availability of the certificate.

• Regulation (EU) 468/2012 Annex I “Model Health Certificate for import into the European Union of composite products intended for human consumption”
• Regulation (EU) 468/2012 Annex II “Model Health Certificate for transit through or storage in the European Union of composite products intended for human consumption”

Note: Regulation (EU) 468/2012 replaced Regulation (EU) 28/2012. The above guidance also applies if an exporter is advised that they require a Regulation (EU) 28/2012 certificate.
