Wildlife Services (WS)
Summary of responses on the importance of services offered by the NWRC
While research and development of new methods and information are the primary mission of the NWRC, the staff at the Center provide many non-research services. More than half of respondents in both the Eastern and Western Regions and at the NWRC indicated that most of the services shown in the graph likely would be moderately or highly important to their job over the next 5 years. Economic information on effectiveness of management and on the impact of wildlife damages was rated the highest, with more than 70% of respondents indicating that this likely would be highly important.
