Register Today for the Lacey Act and Phase VII Implementation Webinar
The United States Department of Agriculture and the U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s (CBP) Office of Trade are hosting a webinar on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. EDT titled Lacey Act and Phase VII Implementation. In Phase VII, Lacey Act declarations will be required for all remaining plant product Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) codes that are not 100 percent composite materials. That means a wide array of imported products—such as furniture, additional essential oils, and cork—that have never before needed Lacey Act declarations will now need them.
The webinar will provide an overview of the Lacey Act, describe the 2008 amendments to the act covering plants and plant products and their requirements, and provide the latest updates on Phase VII of the Import Declaration Implementation Schedule.
Register for this free webinar on the CBP Trade Events Link.
All registrants will receive the link for the webinar the day before the event, but entry into the webinar is on a first-come, first-served basis as seats are limited.
