Dr. Kurt C. VerCauteren
Research Wildlife Biologist/Project Leader |
Dr. Kurt VerCauteren conducts research to create novel means of managing the diseases and damage of deer and elk to protect American agriculture. His current research involves addressing scientific questions that will lead to a better understanding of diseases of ungulates and to develop means to manage and control them. Many of his efforts are focused at the interface between free-ranging cervids and livestock.
