NWRC Research Project: Analytical Chemistry
Developing non-invasive analytical methods to detect TB in breath or fecal samples as means of identifying infection in a wildlife population. Also developing bioenergetics models to estimate climate effects on poikilotherms with an emphasis on understanding climate constraints on survival. Using QSAR modelling to predict physiological response to repellents and toxicants in target organisms with the objective of understanding how compounds with similar molecular structure elicit a response.
