Gordon R. Gathright, DVM




Dr. Gordon Gathright, Supervisory Attending Veterinarian for the National Wildlife Research Center, oversees a staff of approximately ten animal care specialists. He and his staff are responsible for the daily health and care of animal species housed for scientific study by NWRC scientists. He also serves on the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC), the Biosafety Committee, and the Biocontainment Oversight Committee for the Center, and is a member of the WS Immobilization and Euthanasia Committee.
