beaver modify their environment by cutting trees and building damsBeavers are resident mammals that are managed by Federal, State, and Tribal wildlife agencies, and they are an important component of North American ecosystems. Integrated solutions to address problems may include exclusionary devices, habitat manipulation, and population management, as well as novel approaches being evaluated by research.
