European Starling

European starlings (Sturnus vulgaris) are an invasive species that cause damage to agricultural resources, especially dairy and livestock facilities where they consume and contaminate feed. Starlings also pose threats to safe aircraft operations, and may cause property damage due to accumulations of feces and other activities. Starlings and blackbirds often occur together in damage situations in agricultural and suburban areas, and on airports.
