Wildlife Services Provides People with Technical and Operational Assistance - Site Visit

WS personnel may conduct site visits to gather detailed information about a wildlife damage problem, and to develop site-specific management recommendations. Typically, site visits are conducted for more complicated problems, and where special permits and authorizations may be necessary to address the situation. During the site visit, WS gathers information about the wildlife species and population associated with the problem, reviews management methods employed by the requestor, and provides new recommendations or refinements for methods that have already been tried. Written Program information and species-specific factsheets are usually given to the person, or provided as a follow-up.
