Japanese Beetle Electronic Data Collection Tool

In 2021, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) launched an improved version of IPHIS, the Japanese Beetle Data Collector for the PPQ JB Surveyors Group.

Updated applications include: JB Visual Surveys, JB Aircraft Inspections, and JB Trapping Collector. Moreover, data fields were added for the spotted lantern fly (SLF), another serious pest of states’ concern. Electronic versions of Emergency Action Notification (EAN) forms and JB Aircraft Inspection Reports (JBAIR’s) are also available.
