June 12–25, 2022

This 2-week program allows students to explore careers in animal science and related fields, including aspects of veterinary medicine; animal husbandry, management, and behavior; and other animal health and welfare concerns. Students will live on the Tallahassee campus and work with a variety of animal species. They will apply their instruction and training in practical, hands-on experiences, such as blood sample collection, hoof trimming, laboratory activities, and field trips in the various animal and related industries. The program gives students many different opportunities in animal science to help them better understand and refine their career paths.
