Office of Diversity and Inclusion

Collaborates and coordinates with Human Resources to implement diversity in hiring, retention and promotion to create a diverse, results-oriented, high-performing workforce. 

Develops and implements training to Agency employees to provide awareness on diversity and inclusion.

Provide support and guidance to special emphasis programs and managers represented throughout the APHIS workforce, by sponsoring training/educational opportunities and cultural programs to enhance the diversity and inclusion mission.

Utilizes APHIS graduates of a diversity and Inclusion certification program in a collateral duty capacity to champion diversity and inclusion initiatives, enhance communication with programs, recommend strategic actions and provide basic awareness training.
