J.R. Simplot Late Blight Resistant, Low Acrylamide Potential, Reduced Black Spot Bruising, Lowered Reducing Sugar GE Potato

The U.S. Department of Agriculture's (USDA) Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) announced a determination of nonregulated status for a genetically engineered (GE) potato variety developed by J.R. Simplot Company (Simplot) engineered for late blight resistance, low-acrylamide potential, reduced black spot bruising, and lowered reducing sugars.  The effective date of the determination of nonregulated status was September 2, 2015.
