Practical Solutions to Welfare Challenges
March 29th & 30th, 2017
USDA Center for Animal Welfare
6501 Beacon Drive, Kansas City, Missouri 64133
An informative symposium sponsored by USDA-Animal Care focusing on the psychological and physical well-being of nonhuman primates
This two-day event is free and open to the first 200 participants and will provide targeted, practical information on areas where we see the most opportunities to enhance compliance and animal welfare at our regulated facilities. Continuing education credits may be available. Advance registration is required. We will not be able to admit anyone who has not registered.
A workshop on building a framework for a comprehensive and compliant environment enhancement plan will also be offered at the end of the second day.
The Center for Animal Welfare is very excited to host this event and provide the opportunity to share the collective expertise of our speakers to enhance the welfare of nonhuman primates at facilities across the United States.
Registration for this event has closed. If you have any questions about this event, please contact the Center for Animal Welfare by calling 816-737-4202 or by email at CenterforAnimalWelfare@aphis.usda.gov
