Veterinary Services Recruitment Activities & Career Opportunities

Veterinary Services (VS)  is committed to recruitment and outreach activities that target a diverse and highly qualified pool of applicants for careers with us. The VS National Recruitment Program provides consulting and support services to management, recruiters, civil rights committees, and applicants on all aspects of recruitment, hiring, and outreach. Additionally, we are actively involved in workforce and succession planning. Furthering diversity in VS has been the focus of many of our initiatives.

VS has a cadre of over 60 trained recruiters nationwide. These recruiters identify and attend events that contribute to fulfilling national, regional, and local recruitment plans. The goal of the VS recruitment webpage is to provide valuable information for recruiters and applicants.

Other Student Opportunities

Veterinary Services - Student Externships/Internships

VS established the National Public Veterinary Careers Internship & Externship Program in collaboration with Mississippi State University, College of Veterinary Medicine. VS advertises externship and internship assignments through Mississippi State University. These assignments will be open to veterinary students as well as students majoring in the veterinary sciences. For more information, please visit the Mississippi State University Externship page.
