NVAP: Information for Veterinarians

As an accredited veterinarian, you must immediately report to the Area Veterinarian in Charge and the State Animal Health Official all diagnosed or suspected cases of a communicable animal disease for which APHIS has a control or eradication program in 9 CFR chapter I, and all diagnosed or suspected cases of any animal disease not known to exist in the United States.

Update Your Contact Information

Maintaining your contact information is an integral part of your participation in the program.  We rely on having your current e-mail address and other contact information to be able to notify you about your renewal and other pertinent animal health issues.  You may update your contact information by:

  1. Completing the VS Form 1-36A and mailing it to the appropriate NVAP Coordinator
  2. Accessing the VSPS system and submitting a change online
