Country Acceptance List for VEHCS

Welcome to our Country Acceptance List for USDA APHIS’ online Veterinary Export Health Certification System (VEHCS)

Using VEHCS, all export health certificates for live animals for all destination countries can now be electronically issued by USDA Accredited Veterinarians and submitted to USDA APHIS Veterinary Services (VS) for endorsement. This webpage provides a list of countries that also accept APHIS’s digital endorsement in VEHCS for all animals exported to that country (certificates can be issued electronically and digitally endorsed), as well as countries that accept APHIS’s digital endorsement in VEHCS for only certain animals exported to that country.  Additionally, this page lists specific situations in which VEHCS is the only option for obtaining endorsement. For countries or animals not listed below, a health certificate submitted by the USDA Accredited Veterinarian in VEHCS will be printed from VEHCS by the USDA APHIS VS Endorsement Office, physically endorsed (ink signed and embossed), and returned by overnight mailing/shipping or in person pick up.

VEHCS may be used for certain animals for the entire process of obtaining a health certificate (issuance, submission, endorsement, certificate return) for the following animals to the following destination countries:

  • Canada: all terrestrial animals (aquatic animal certificates must be physically endorsed by APHIS)
