*Argentina, a region consisting of the areas of Patagonia South and Patagonia North B only
*Brazil, State of Santa Catarina only
*Cyprus, excluding those areas of the Republic of Cyprus in which the Government of the Republic of Cyprus does not exercise effective control.
Micronesia, Federated States of
*Namibia, excluding the region north of the Veterinary Cordon Fence
*Papua New Guinea
Saint-Pierre and Miquelon
Trinidad and Tobago
*APHIS has declared these regions to be free of rinderpest and foot-and-mouth disease; however, the importation of meat and other animal products from these regions into the United States is subject to restrictions specified in 9 CFR 94.11 because one or more of the following conditions apply:
Importation of fresh (chilled or frozen) beef and ovine meat from specified regions
APHIS has not declared the following regions to be free of FMD; however, the importation of certain commodities from these regions into the United States is allowed if requirements specified in 9 CFR 94.29, in addition to other applicable requirements, are met.
