The United States Department of Agriculture’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service’s (APHIS) fiscal year 2023 open period for submitting project suggestions under the Plant Pest and Disease Management and Disaster Prevention Program (PPDMDPP) and the National Clean Plant Network (NCPN) will begin June 13 and last seven weeks. Applicants will have 12 weeks to submit suggestions for NCPN. APHIS will provide $75 million in total, with at least $7.5 million going to the NCPN, to fund selected projects.
APHIS will offer webinars in the coming weeks to assist applicants submitting a PPDMDPP project suggestion. APHIS will share more information as it becomes available online and via the stakeholder registry.
