The United States Department of Agriculture’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) is advising the public of the intent to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for predator damage management activities in Oregon.

The EIS will direct how APHIS will manage damage and threats caused by wildlife such as coyotes, gray wolves, black bears, mountain lions, bobcats, red and gray fox, raccoons and badgers. When completed, the EIS will replace APHIS’ environmental assessments on predator and wolf damage management in Oregon.

The Agency intends to seek public comment in the spring of 2020.
