Human Resources Planning Branch
The overall objective of the Human Resources Planning Branch (HRPB) is to ensure that APHIS maintains an appropriate workforce to carry out the agency mission. The Branch contributes to the overall MRP human resources management program by collaborating with the mission area(s) efforts in support of the Strategic Management of Human Capital initiatives. This is performed through management and analysis of Human Resources data and Workforce and Succession Planning Support and Analysis. HRPB is also responsible for the oversight and administration of the New Employee and Exit surveys as well as the analysis and reporting of various employee surveys such as the annual Employee Viewpoint Survey, administered by the Office of Personnel Management (OPM).
