The Netherlands is a Member State of the European Union. The Netherlands accepts English-only health certificates. For species/commodities is not listed below, please refer to the European Union website.

SPECIES - MOST RECENT UPDATE

Bovine Embryo

  • Netherlands will accept English-only health certificate on the European Union website.


Bovine Semen

  • Netherlands will accept English-only health certificate on the European Union website.


Pets

NOTE:

For animals older than 16 weeks of age, 21 days must elapse from the date of the primary rabies vaccination before a pet is eligible to travel to the EU. A rabies vaccine is considered primary if either:

(1) the animal was vaccinated for the first time.

(2) the animal was vaccinated for the first time after a microchip was implanted, or

(3) vaccination was not carried out within the period of validity of a previous vaccination
