United Kingdom (UK) is a Member State of the European Union. Please refer to the English version of the certificates on the link to the European Union. Note special requirements for export of dogs, cats, and ferret to the UK below.
SPECIES - MOST RECENT UPDATE
Model 1: Health certificate for imports into and transits through the EU of bovine semen dispatched from a semen collection center where the semen was collected
Model 3: Health certificate for imports into and transits through the EU of bovine semen dispatched from a semen storage center
For animals older than 16 weeks of age, 21 days must elapse from the date of the primary rabies vaccination before a pet is eligible to travel to the EU. A rabies vaccine is considered primary if either:
(1) the animal was vaccinated for the first time.
(2) the animal was vaccinated for the first time after a microchip was implanted, or
(3) vaccination was not carried out within the period of validity of a previous vaccination
The UK prohibits import of the following dog breeds: Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa , Dogo Argentino , and Fila Braziliero.
