Feral Swine in Virginia


Feral Swine imageReports of feral swine or hogs have increased recently in their number and their distribution across the Commonwealth.  The USDA Wildlife Services Program is working closely with the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries and the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services to map feral swine populations and better understand their distribution and abundance.  The location and date of observations of feral swine should be reported to the Virginia Wildlife Services Program at:
