SPECIAL INTEREST

West Virginia discovers escaped population of domestic swine (2008)
WDB Hill and SD Croson met with representatives of the WV Department of Agriculture to conduct a site visit at the location where feral swine were determine to be based on complaints from the public regarding damage to agricultural crops and private/hobby gardens. Samples will be submitted from feral swine for classical swine fever, pseudorabies, and swine brucellosis.
